OVERVIEW: Korea Prepaid Card Co., Ltd. issues and distributes the official “WEBTOON” Gift Card, which allows users to purchase and gift ‘Cookies’, the exclusive digital currency used for paid content on NAVER Webtoon. NAVER Webtoon Gift Cards are available at over 42,000 retail locations nationwide, including convenience stores and supermarkets. These prepaid cards can be used to top up Cookies, offering both gifting convenience and collectible fun through a variety of card designs featuring beloved Webtoon IP characters.

Cookies are the dedicated in-app currency used to unlock premium content such as webtoons, web novels, and digital comics on NAVER Webtoon and NAVER Series. So familiar is this currency to users that buying paid content is often referred to as “baking Cookies.” Previously, Cookies could only be purchased through online payments. However, starting from the 18th, users can now recharge their Cookies using gift cards—no online banking, card, or account linking required.; The NAVER Webtoon Cookie Gift Card is available in two denominations: ₩10,000 and ₩30,000. These cards can be purchased at major retailers across Korea, including CU, GS25, Emart24, Emart Everyday, Emart, Electro Mart, and Homeplus. After purchase, the gift card can be redeemed by scanning the QR code on the top of the card, which directs users to the coupon code registration page, or through the “My Cookies” menu on the NAVER Webtoon website. Based on NAVER Webtoon’s official cookie conversion rate, a ₩10,000 card converts to 100 Cookies, and a ₩30,000 card converts to 300 Cookies. Each gift card is valid for 5 years from the date of purchase. NAVER Webtoon plans to go beyond a simple one-time payment method by turning the Cookie Gift Card into a collectible item. By featuring various popular Webtoon IP designs, the card adds both visual enjoyment and collection value for fans.
